Dota2.no Gather for Scandinavians Season 2 !

Gather.dota2.no launches Season 2 this Wednesday.

Gather.dota2.no is a website specially tailored for the scandinavian dota community, a site where both competetive and casual dota2 players can enjoy a nice game in a friendly environment. After the first successful beta season, we have, with your feedback, made a few changes to the way games are played. We think that this will provide a learning ground for new players and give veterans a place to reconnect with old acquaintances from the dota 1 community. We have previously had problems with bad manners and people who think they have more rights than the average player. However, in this season we are trying to discourage this kind of behaviour with stricter enforcement of the rules - in certain cases ofextreme badmouthing, people will get permabanned from the site. On a lighter note, we have the pleasure of announcing that at the end of the season, we will reward cash prizes to the top players as well as the players who have been able to keep it mannered and be a positive addition to the community. It is now possible to commend a player after any game, the players with top commendations will receive a cash prize. The cash prizes for this season is as follows.

Placement prizes:
Manner prizes: (Most commends)   Recruitment prize:

1st place: 500 NOK      1st place: 100 NOK         1st place: 100 NOK
2nd place: 200 NOK      2nd place: 50 NOK
Most wins: 100 NOK      3rd place 50 NOK

We wish you all the best of luck in the second season of www.gather.dota2.no and hope that this is the first of many seasons where we will be able to award cash prizes.
